The Classifieds brings you weekly news from around the WoW community, including our famous Random Acts of Uberness shout-outs to players who make your WoW sessions memorable.

It's the end of summer, and school is getting started. That means plenty of people are sharpening pencils and packing bags to get back into the classroom, and a lot of guilds are in a little bit of a pause. If you find yourself needing new raiders, or if you just want to give someone a shout-out, just drop us a line at theclassifieds@wowinsider.com. We're here to help, and we'd love to hear from you!

Each blurb should be a few sentences long and include a link to your event, guild, or Armory. That link's important because it helps readers look at your information and make further judgements and inquiries.

Random Acts of Uberness

It's when another player lights up your night with precise play, a wicked sense of humor or unexpected generosity that your login becomes something to remember. L70 guild, nothing new I would have guess they existed, but this is the first one I've actually seen. Strength of Azeroth is a level 70 content Alliance guild on Stormrage. We are looking to get more level 70s to do the BC heroics, rep runs, and raids on a regular basis. The core leadership of the guild are military and military wives that are level headed and dislike drama just as much as you do! We love the BC content and want to get back into it full swing, thats why are we are a traditional level 70 guild. That means that we only use game options that were availible during the BC. So that means no glyphs, no Death Knights, no inscription, no Worgen, no new race/class combos (sorry Dwarf Mages). You don't have to be level 70 to join, if your interested just create a toon on the server and come play! If you didn't play during the BC era or just plain miss the awesomeness of the Outland, please contact Revaness or Bloodbeerd in game to ask about joining. Thanks!

Looking for ranged You don't see many groups looking for ranged DPS and rogues, but these folks are! Borderland Legion needs YOU... assuming you're ranged dps, a disc priest or a rogue. We're Hordeside on Runetotem - EU and are currently 6/7 on 25-man Firelands, with Raggy soon to fall. Heroics are coming up soon! We're looking for applicants who are 18+ and who can raid Wednesday, Friday, Sunday and Tuesday from 1930 to 2300 (or at least 55% of our raid nights). Flasks, feasts and repairs are provided for active raiders!

Oceanic raiding opportunity This team is pushing heroic encounters, and they need a few good friends. PitchBlack is a Oceanic Alliance raiding guild situated on US-Aman'Thul. After quickly clearing Fireland's normal mode encounters, we have pushed hard into the heroic mode fights with multiple kills of Shannox and Rhyolith now under our belts. PitchBlack has, throughout its 5 and a half years of existence, been focused on achieving meaningful progression, and this focus will continue well into the future. At this time, PitchBlack is searching for an exceptional ranged player and an exceptional healer to join our primary progression team.
