The Queue: Warpaint

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Mike Sacco will be your host today.

It's Sunday, and that means you're almost rid of my Queues for another four days! Here's a track by Warpaint (coincidentally titled Warpaint), one of my new favorite bands. Go get their album The Fool and enjoy what Pitchfork calls "an hour-long seance."

By the way, happy birthday, Mathew Genzer McCurley. I love you and I'm glad we're friends. Here's to many more.

Reznarz asked:

Why on earth can we see Azeroth suspended in the sky on the courtyard of Black Temple? Are Draenor / Outland close in proximity?

No, they're not. Draenor, however, is suspended in the Twisting Nether, which is not actually space; it's a collection of powerful energies, a sort of a pocket dimension that touches lots of other worlds and points in space. Unstable as it is, there are places where if you're in the Nether itself, you can see through it to other points in the universe. The Black Temple courtyard is one of those places.

Andrew R asked:

Any thoughts of what the pandaren mount will be? I'm going with something similar to what the worgen received. A pandaren will curl into a ball and bounce around at X speed.

The devs said they were considering giving them a turtle mount, given the association pandarens have to them.

Droopox asked:

Will we get rep in the Raid Finder every time we run it? Let's say there is a rep associated with any new raid, can we farm the rep in there?

Honestly, we've heard nothing at all about a reputation associated with the Dragon Soul raid, so I can't say yes or no to that. I'd just as soon assume there isn't one. At least I hope there isn't.

Yous95 asked:

Do the humans (particularly those of Stormwind) have any deity that they worship or at least believe in, such as how the night elves worship Elune?

The closest thing humans have to a deity is the Light. Stormwind-affiliated humans definitely practice Light worship almost exclusively. Bear in mind that the Light isn't really a deity, though; it's more of a philosophy, like Zen, rather than a monotheistic (or even theistic at all) religion like Christianity. The draenei view on the subject might differ, though, given that they live with the Light equivalent of angels.

Lazymangaka asked:

Is the LFR system going to be balancing players based only on roles, or will it also be taking classes into account? I just think it would be hilarious to zone into a raid and see 24 Druids making up the rest of the raid.

The Raid Finder will attempt to gather classes the same way the Dungeon Finder does -- that is, with as much variation as possible given the pool of available players.
