MV Guide: August 27 - September 3, 2012

MV Guide is a weekly rundown of the MMO gaming events planned on Massively TV.

Every week, the Massively Stream Team logs in to play various MMOs live and in person, and we'd love for you to drop by the channel and visit. We have a combination of regular weekly games and new surprises each week, so you'll find a variety of titles to watch. During our streamed events, you can participate in the live chat, ask questions to learn about the game, or simply spend some time with Massively staff and readers. (Of course, streaming is subject to the whims of outside forces like server-side gremlins once in a while.)

Monday

4:00 p.m. EDT: MJ -- The Secret World
Last week, MJ had the chance to group up with folks to take on some Innsmouth Academy quests in the Savage Coast. This time she's heading to the lighthouse and the spooky horror writer, and she wants you to join in! Come experience life imitating art inside a game.

5:00 p.m. EDT: Beau -- Order and Chaos Online
It's been over a year since Beau took a look at Order and Chaos Online, so check out this stream to see what's changed and what has stayed the same with this neat mutli-client MMO.

6:00 p.m. EDT: MJ -- Guild Wars 2
You asked for it! Though she's avoided all the hype and has practically no experience with any Guild Wars, MJ is willing to dive head-first into the realm of Guild Wars 2 as a complete and total newb just for you, dear viewers. What will her impressions be? And more importantly, how many spectacular deaths can she accumulate in her cluelessness. If you want a peek at the game and a review from a certified non-fanboi, tune in and watch.

7:00 p.m. EDT: Mike -- EVE Online
It's time again to hop into a Tier I freighter and head out into the black looking for a fight. Join Mike as he ventures into the darkest, most dangerous areas of EVE Online's universe and engages some of its nastiest denizens. Spoiler alert: Ships will be lost. PvP ahoy!

Tuesday

9:00 a.m. EDT: David "Psykopig" -- Puzzle Pirates
YARRRR! Psykopig has long heard stories about this game, but never tried it! Puzzle Pirates is a F2P puzzle-based MMO and the Pig is about to show it how Massively rolls! Join in this Tuesday as he shows you his wooden leg.

8:00 p.m. EDT: MJ -- Guild Wars 2
Today is official launch day! Things should be even more interesting, right? Hopefully MJ has made it out of character creation (hahaha yeah right!) and can prance and dance about the world that so many have been waiting so long for. Watch MJ navigate the unfamiliar world and mythos in her second day of GW2 life.

9:00 p.m. EDT: MJ -- EverQuest II
Vampires are so last adventure pack! This EverQuest Two-sday finds MJ venturing into an underground realm of gnolls in The Splitpaw Saga, the second adventure pack for EQII. Instead of just blasting through things by raining lightning on gnoll heads, this journey will require some problem solving as MJ goes deeper into Sundered Splitpaw. How far can she get on this first trip? Watch and see.

Wednesday

2:00 p.m. EDT: Blake -- Star Wars: The Old Republic
Blake dives back into max level PVP at lightspeed in Lunchtime Livecast #30. He'll talk teamwork and strategy from the perspective of a Level 50 Vanguard. The Empire is squarely in his sights!

3:00 p.m. EDT: Lis -- Guild Wars 2
What wonders await us after five glorious days of Guild Wars 2 play time? Catch up with Elisabeth's adventures in the world of post-launch Tyria!

7:00 p.m. EDT: Mike -- World of Tanks
Last week's double-wide World of Tanks stream left Mike feeling cocky. Now it's time for everything to come crashing down around him in a series of embarrassing defeats. Can Mike continue his successful tankery, or is he doomed to a life of mediocre combat and ruined heaps of scrap metal? Tune in and find out.

8:00 p.m. EDT: MJ -- Aion
PUGs. Sometimes they just don't work, and last week they didn't work. Undaunted, MJ jumps right back into Atreia to try and get a group for something. This time she plans to see how quickly she can find a group for quests or a dungeon on the new Fast-Track server.

9:00 p.m. EDT: MJ -- DC Universe Online
OK, so maybe her first foray back into Gotham wasn't as... successful... as MJ had hoped. But she stuck it out and was doing pretty well before long. Too bad the cameras weren't still rolling! Want her to prove it? You're on! Watch as MJ tries to tidy up the streets of Gotham by eradicating villainy. Or better yet, join in to steal the spotlight from her!

Thursday

9:00 a.m. EDT: David "Psykopig" -- All Points Bulletin
Psykopig's search continues with All Points Bulletin this Thursday! Check out all the gun-slinging action as he traverses San Pedro with all the swag of a Pig! Literally AND Figuratively!

5:00 p.m. EDT: Beau -- Allods Online
Ever want to see what the Astral is all about? Well check out this stream as Beau takes a tour of the scary space area while teamed with several GMs! Pew pew!

Friday

7:00 p.m EDT: Mike -- Drakensang Online
Last week in Drakensang Online, Mike managed to almost-solo a dungeon and was brutally destroyed in an accidental PvP match. This week, he's back with a vengeance and ready to throw fireballs in the faces of anyone who may doubt him. Tune in for brutal combat, joyous victories, and more than a few roasted goblins.

8:00 p.m. EDT: Beau -- Darkblood Online
Want to see just how brutal PvP can be in Outspark's new title Darkblood Online? Look no further! Keep an eye out while Beau attempts to keep up with other players during this PvP-tag event hosted by Outspark.

Saturday

9:00 a.m. EDT: David "Psykopig" -- The Secret World
Saturday is Dragon day! Don't believe us? We don't lie! Check out the Saturday morning show with Psykopig as he continues to wow your faces with missions from Kingsmouth. Saturday is another 2 hour show! Its a big place, so don't miss out the in's and out's of The Secret World!

After a fantastic first foray into the game last week, Blake is back to continue his adventure in the beta of the upcoming Action MMO from Perfect World. He'll resume his look at the game through the eyes of a brand new player. His Level 3 cleric stars in Lunchtime Livecast #31!
