The Wii U received another firmware update this week, albeit an apparently minor one ahead of a larger feature update, which Nintendo says is coming in April. This update, for firmware version 2.1.3 U, brings "further improvements to overall system stability."

The larger feature update, which Nintendo previously announced for this spring, will bring Virtual Console support to the console, launching with a selection of NES and SNES games.
