WRUP Alwaysoffline edition
We understand that folks aren't necessarily fans of always-online products. We've had our own frustrations with the concept recently as well. At Joystiq, we understand. We've had our top minds trying to come up with a way to provide Joystiq in an offline format. We think we've got it! Please press Ctrl-P (⌘P on Mac).

What's everyone playing this weekend?

  • Alexander Sliwinski (@Sliwinski): Helping Lara get out of the danger zone.
  • David Hinkle (@DaveHinkle): I'll be safely tucked away in cover, penning my review of Gears of War: Judgment.
  • JC Fletcher (@jcfletcher): I have a desperate, immediate need of portable comfort food and a Fire Emblem game that needs to be continued. Man, maybe I'll play Runner 2 between Fire Emblem battles, and dual-wield the comfort food.
  • Jess Conditt (@JessConditt): Halo Reach? Just because. Don't judge me.
  • Jordan Mallory (@Jordan_Mallory): Gonna get up to some weird backwards musical spaceship stuff in Retro/Grade and pick up Mega Man 3 on 3DS Virtual Console.
  • Ludwig Kietzmann (@LudwigK): Thinking of having a nice glass of Malbec with Tom Braider.
  • Mike Schramm (@MikeSchramm): Starcraft 2 multiplayer, first for review, and then for fun.
  • Mike Suszek (@MikeSuszek): I'm continuing my quest to incrementally improve my equipment in Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate on both Wii U and 3DS. I'm so happy this game doesn't have micro-transactions.
  • Richard Mitchell (@TheRichardM): I'm spending a few days on the lake (well, near it anyway), so it's portable and board games for me. Possible candidates: Last Night on Earth, Pandemic, Carcassonne, Bananagrams, Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, Fire Emblem: Awakening, Retro City Rampage. Virtual Console Mega Man games? Persona 4 Golden finally? Nothing at all? Who knows?
  • Sinan Kubba (@Shoinan): I'm *going* to finish a video game. Which one? That's not what's important!
  • Steven Wong: I'm hooked on ruling my people in Tropico 4.
  • Xav de Matos (@Xav): Probably more Dark Souls, which I've taken to recently.
