The Stream Team: Spring has sprung edition, April 22 - 28, 2013

The Stream Team Spring has sprung edition, April 22 28, 2013
If you live in the Northeast, chances are you ignore both the calendar and the furry little four-footed weatherman when it comes to anticipating the arrival of spring. In fact, you just don't believe it until you see it! Plenty of kids in that region are pros at gathering Easter eggs in a snowsuit. Although some might argue that the four seasons are actually Almost Winter, Winter, Still Winter, and Road Construction, I contend that they can experience an actual spring. And after a week of sunshine and non-frosty temperatures, I say it's finally made an appearance!

Doh! I spoke to soon: It's back to the 20s. Tricksy weather, you almost fooled me. Oh well, I guess I can dive back under some blankets and watch more Massively TV instead of venturing into that thing called "outdoors." You, too, can take refuge from the never-ending winter by watching The Stream Team visit virtual lands of sun, warmth, even lava. Whom am I kidding? They will probably taunt us in another world of snow!

Monday
5:00 p.m. EDT: War Thunder -- Beau
Beau is flying his way through this new warplane-centric MMO. Join him as he livestreams it for the very first time and as he is shot out of the sky. Several times, actually.

Tuesday
5:00 p.m. EDT: All Points Bulletin -- Beau
In order to get prepared for an upcoming Second Wind, Beau will be leaping head-first back into APB, the gritty shooter from GamersFirst. Come watch him die!

Now that she's gotten a few extra pointers about a DPS build, let's see how well MJ puts them to use. It's time to send her after Tyler Freeborn again! She has only 10 deaths before her gear breaks, so can she succeed? Tune in and cheer her on (or just laugh, either is good).

9:00 p.m. EDT: EverQuest II -- MJ
What's a Tuesday without EverQuest II? Answer: Not nearly as much fun! MJ jumps back on her Paladin for some lower-level adventures. Feel free to join in.

7:00 p.m. EDT: World of Warplanes -- Mike
No more World of Warplanes NDA means it's time to take to the skies and blow the heck out of everything. Or get blown up. Whatever.

9:00 p.m. & 10:00 p.m. EDT: Star Wars: The Old Republic -- Larry
Rise of the Hutt Cartel allows the raid team to re-experience some of the older raids in a new light. Larry and his team need gear so they can effectively take on the baddies of Scum and Villainy.

Monday
1:30 p.m. EDT: SMITE -- Blake
The Lunchtime Livecast returns with show #62! Join Blake for a smash-filled edition of Hi-Rez's MOBA SMITE. Chinese pantheon fans, this episode is for you: Today Blake demos Ne Zha, the Third Lotus Prince.

We're going back into the jungle terrain with our mid-level Shaman, Gravewaves! Join Dylan as he slays Orcs, tigers, and bears in this hour-long look at the epic leveling in Mists of Pandaria. No heirloom items? No problem.

Reruns
The weather may shoot from nippy to hot to sweater-worthy again in mere hours in many parts of the country during spring (or even quicker if you live in Denver!). So why not save yourself the wardrobe hassles this week and just stay inside and watch some reruns? Let the weather sort itself out while you stay comfortable and entertained.
Highlight Reel
Sports, gardening, picnics -- all good springtime activities. And all usually attended by uninvited guests. Buzzing around your head or crawling at your feet, the pesky little buggers can be an annoyance. But that's nothing compared to the ones spotlighted this week:

After watching this streamer face down Hell Bugs, you might find yourself actually grateful for the tiny ones in our world!

Outtakes
Spring means the air is filled with the melodies of birds; you hear them singing their chirpy little tunes without care of who is listening, just reveling in the season and belting out those strains. Maybe The Stream Team should get with the (spring)times and fill the airwaves with a few songs of their own. Tell us, Massively fans, whom should we convince to sing on his or her streams? And be sure to add your thoughts for what songs we should perform in the comments below!%Poll-82147%
Watching the Massively Stream Team play video games is the next best thing to playing them yourself! Join us every Monday morning for MJ's guide to this week's livestream schedule, classic stream reruns from last week, and all the best outtakes and ephemera.
