Moto X preview

This week Motorola, now clearly a Google company, showed off the long rumored Moto X -- a 4.7-inch phone, sporting a 720p AMOLED display, custom finishes, and Android 4.2.2 -- shipping from the USA this summer. Nexus 7 review (2013)

Last year's Nexus 7 left us wondering: Who knew affordable tablets could be so good? The 7-inch, quad-core device was a home run, and we concluded that it was the best $200 tablet you could buy at the time. So, when this year's follow-up came out at a slightly higher price, we were a little concerned the higher cost would dissuade penny-pinching shoppers from taking the plunge. The new Nexus 7 is definitely the best bang for your buck, and is still affordable enough for most budget-savvy shoppers. Click above for more.

Google Chromecast review

The Chromecast -- like Apple's TV -- offers a way to add some smarts into your once dumb televisions with one main difference: Google's selling the dongle for only $35. So, does the Chromecast really transform your TV? Chromecast is an easy way to stream internet video to your TV from almost any source. With a price of just $35 it's a bona fide steal. NVIDIA Shield review

Eight months ago, at CES 2013, NVIDIA surprised us all with its newest device: Project Shield, a handheld gaming console that could stream PC games, while running Android 4.2.1 at the same time. It was, and remains a truly strange, and quite impressive device. It's not the portable console you're looking for, but it's also so much more than that. Head on up for our full review with the gaming machine.
