Moto X preview
This week Motorola, now clearly a Google company, showed off the long rumored Moto X -- a 4.7-inch phone, sporting a 720p AMOLED display, custom finishes, and Android 4.2.2 -- shipping from the USA this summer. Nexus 7 review (2013)
Last year's Nexus 7 left us wondering: Who knew affordable tablets could be so good? The 7-inch, quad-core device was a home run, and we concluded that it was the best $200 tablet you could buy at the time. So, when this year's follow-up came out at a slightly higher price, we were a little concerned the higher cost would dissuade penny-pinching shoppers from taking the plunge. NVIDIA Shield review
Eight months ago, at CES 2013, NVIDIA surprised us all with its newest device: Project Shield, a handheld gaming console that could stream PC games, while running Android 4.2.1 at the same time. It was, and remains a truly strange, and quite impressive device. It's not the portable console you're looking for, but it's also so much more than that.
