Thank you, thank you all for your intervention! I think I can safely avoid checking myself into some virtual support group for MMO hoarders now that's I've gone through and given my hard drive a good scrubbing out. I know most people equate big deep cleaning projects with spring, but what better way to get ready for the holiday season (and possibly new games) than with a nice fall cleaning? And from the looks of the other poll, it appears more of of you could benefit from the same!
Taking your advice (and a few other things into account as well), I have stripped a hefty chunk of games off my system and found a quite a cache of gigabytes left in their place. Oh, those glorious shiny free GBs; they shall come in handy soon, I just know it! Until I they do, I will entertain myself with the variety of shows put on by The Stream Team this week on Massively TV. Who knows, maybe something will pique my interest enough to install it myself...
8:00 p.m. EDT: Age of Wushu -- Beau
Beau is working his way through the beautiful and complicated world of Age of Wushu again this week. How did you vote in the latest polls? Each week he's adapting his gameplay to the choices that you make and playing along with members of the developer team!
9:00 p.m. EDT: EverQuest II -- MJ
Massively Minions is now a thing, and it needs some status. So this week MJ is going to show you the writ racket. If you are over level 80, this is the place to be (especially for Furies!). Come see how much status she can accumulate in one night.
3:00 p.m. EDT: Dragon's Prophet -- MJ
It's launch day, so join in as MJ heads back to the new player experience and shows off her new dragon. She also might just have a couple more codes for said dragon to give away!
10:00 a.m. & 11:00 a.m. EDT: Guild Wars 2 -- Richie
The new Tequatl boss fight has risen in Guild Wars 2, but will we get to see the encounter during Richie's two-hour stream show? We don't know! Tune in to find out what sort of Tyrian adventure he has in store this week.
8:00 p.m. EDT: Aion -- MJ
MJ might just be able to talk a friend into heading out for some PvP action on the Elyos side. If so, you know she'll need someone to keep up the death count! Tune in and help out.
9:00 p.m. EDT: The Secret World -- MJ
It could be that MJ is getting a group together for a dungeon. Could be... we are not saying whether she is or isn't. That's top-secret, for those in the know, etc. But this is the stream you are looking for!
None. No seriously, there's nothing to see here.
11:30 a.m. EDT: SMITE -- Blake
In Lunchtime Livecast #77, Blake approaches the end of his tour of the gods of SMITE. Will Hi-Rez sneak in another one to keep the pace?
Speaking of fall cleaning, don't you have a yard/garage/closet/room/whole house that needs some attention? If not, want to use your free day to come and help clean ours?
One of the bonuses to watching these reruns is that they don't take up any space on your machine or device. Nope, you keep all your precious storage space free while also getting the benefits of a variety of entertaining shows. It's the best of both worlds!
Not sure if you really want to load a game on your computer? Then watching the Stream Team is definitely the way to go! And this week's highlight shows you the beginnings of one sandbox world, giving you a taste of how things start off. Warning: Devs are included!
With all this talk about clearing out the old and such, we're wondering if any of you took the fall hard drive cleaning challenge. It's certainly not easy for many folks to part with things they love/once loved. And along those lines, we're curious to know: What is the one game you simply can't live without? Also, what is the one non-game thing on your computer that you absotively posolutely could not be without? Let us know in the comments below!%Poll-84583% Watching the Massively Stream Team play video games is the next best thing to playing them yourself!
