Electrode, Diglett, Nidoran, Mankey! Venusaur, Rattata, Fearow, Pidgey! Seaking, Jolteon, Dragonite, Gastly! Ponyta, Vaporeon, Poliwrath, Butterfree! Catch 'em, catch 'em, gotta catch 'em all - Pokemon!

While Pokemon X / Y won't be out for a bit longer, the reviews have started flooding in, and it looks like a good time to be a poke-fan. I myself haven't played a Pokemon game since Pokemon Red and Blue, and for a long time there I considered myself a poke-purist, acknowledging only the original 151 and no others. A new Pokemon game on the horizon makes me think back on the times I've had to admit that, you know what? While my generation had some cool stuff, these new generations also have some cool stuff, and they're alright.

Why not tell us times where you've come to accept things you initially had resistance to while perusing these (mostly) poke-themed webcomics?
