Yelp updates iOS app's interface, launches mobile reviews for Android

Yelp's latest iOS update might be a minor one, but it could make finding new haunts and publishing reviews via mobile app easier. First thing you'll notice is that the familiar Home page's nowhere to be seen -- "Nearby" takes its place as the default tab, displaying establishments within your area the moment you fire up the app. Still, five options remain on Yelp's menu, thanks to the addition of a new one in the middle that launches quick access buttons you can see in the image above. Other than these changes, the refreshed app also features larger notification images and redesigned icons and animations. It's not just iOS users who can enjoy new features this weekend, though: if you're on Android, know that you can now finally start posting reviews from within the app, as well.
