GAME giving players early access to next-gen at 'lock-in' events
UK high street outlet GAME is running a special "lock-in" tour of its stores, letting eager customers try out the PS4 and Xbox One in the run-up to the next-gen launches. Over 60 stores will extend their opening hours on select dates in the coming weeks, letting Brits across the fair isle try out the shiny new consoles.
The Xbox One tour started this week - the console launches a week earlier than the PS4 in Europe - while Sony's console starts doing the rounds next week. The games to hand include Forza 5, Dead Rising 3, Ryse, Killer Instinct on the Xbox One side, and FIFA 14, Super Mother Load, Octodad, Pinball Arcade, and Contrast. As for when you can take one of the consoles home to call your very own, perhaps to stroke it, brush it, and name it 'Mister Gamington,' the Xbox One launches on November 22 in Europe, and the PS4 a week later on November 29.
