The Queue: Cooper

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Alex Ziebart will be your host today.

I spent my morning early morning hours watching Hangin' With Mr. Cooper. Time well spent, I'd say.

mburno asked:

Would it be possible to scale world bosses for any current expansion so that when new patches hit, their loot is upgraded and maybe abilities?

It would be possible, sure. As was mentioned in the comments yesterday, while it's possible, the developers don't seem too keen to do it. They don't seem to like harboring an expectation that old content will be updated in perpetuity and save that kind of thing for features/locations they feel would be fun to update. Likewise, they prefer players to indulge in the content that is most recent, rather than languishing in the old stuff forever.

Personally, I think things that are out in the world would be neat for them to keep updated, though they can let dungeons and raids remain right where they are. Having a plethora of reasons to go messing around in the game world is a good thing.

JordanPhillips asked:

Do you think there are any bad Naaru? I don't mean corrupted Naaru like M'uru, but full blown evil Naaru, like a Naaru equivalent of the Scarlet Crusade who become so mindlessly dedicated to the light that they eradicate anything and everything that doesn't cohere to their vision of the world.

That's a hard one to answer due to our limited knowledge of the nature of the Naaru. We don't really know what they are. Are they truly sentient beings? Elementals of some sort? Constructs created by someone? Simply an embodiment of a belief/power? If they're fully sentient creatures capable of their own thoughts and interpretations, sure, I think there can be some extremist Naaru out there. If they're beings that are all made to work on the same wavelength, it's probaby unlikely any will be more or less good or evil. We just don't know.

@bencrosse asked:

Why does Yogg-Saron take the form of Sara? What's the significance?

I think it's only meant to be story trickery. You think this vrykul woman is your ally, but nope, it's Yogg-Saron messing with you all along.

@cgjthoma asked:

Will the Kor'kron Guard be rebuilt under Vol'jin, or has their bad rep under Garrosh effectively ended them?

I suspect the Kor'kron will stick around. The Horde hasn't been big on eliminating shady titles so far. They still use Warchief, after all. The title of warchief only came around during their demon blood era. If they're still clinging to that, I'd be shocked if Kor'kron disappeared.

@b_richftw asked:

will 85-90 experience be getting nerfed when WOD comes out?

I'll say probably.
