Diablo 3 total lifetime sales have reached 15 million, Activision revealed during its annual earnings call today. The last time we heard from Activision, back in November, the game had just reached 14 million.

Those extra million copies are in large part thanks to Diablo 3's launch on the Xbox 360 and PS3 in September of last year; a PS4 version is due sometime this year. In our Deja Review piece, we found the new controller-driven inputs favored the melee characters most.

An upcoming expansion for Diablo 3, titled Reaper of Souls, is due to land on PC and Mac next month, on March 25. The expansion has already been confirmed for PS4, though Blizzard has yet to announce its availability on Xbox 360 and PS3.
