Weekly Webcomic Wrapup got a tattoo
Mid last week, I got a tattoo. Well, I say got, but the appointment was to actually add to and work on one I'd already started. Two hours later, and I'm happy for the progress that's been made, but man is it hard to sleep when you have to be careful about how anything touches your back. Also, I have another hour and a half to go before the thing is done, so there's that to look forward to.
When it's completed, this will be my ninth tattoo. I only have two others planned: one representing my love of music, and one representing my love of video games. The latter is something of a collage; a mash-up of all the different franchises and characters that I feel have defined either my gaming journey or the games industry as a whole. There's no-brainer inclusions like the Triforce and Mario, as well as some more subliminal references like a camera lying next to a quarterstaff and a constellation of stars that matches the pattern on a certain water-dwelling game hero.
