Skulls of the Shogun, Nidhogg, Escape Goat 2 and more jumping to PS4

At a Sony event today, PlayStation VP of Publisher and Developer Relations Adam Boyes revealed a whole slate of new titles coming to the PlayStation 4.

Escape Goat 2, Ironclad Tactics, Nidhogg, Skulls of the Shogun: Bone-a-Fide Edition, Apotheon and Starwhal: Just the Tip, Chasm, Jamestown Plus, Source, Drifter and Spelunky are all making the jump from PC to the PS4. No specific timeline for each release was revealed, but the laundry list of titles gives us plenty to look forward to.

Sony's "Third Party Production" team will help bring a select number of the new titles to the PlayStation 4. The group had previously worked to bring Towerfall to the platform.

Spelunky, originally from creators Derek Yu and Andy Hull. The game is currently available on PS3, Xbox 360, PC and Vita.


Skulls of the Shogun from developer 17-BIT and originally published as a Microsoft Xbox Live Arcade and Windows Phone 8 title. The game is also available for PC.


Nidhogg launched on PC from developer Messhof.


Escape Goat 2 was developed by MagicalTimeBean and published on PC by Double Fine.


Starwhal: Just the Tip from Breakfall is coming to the PS4 and PS3. The game originally launched on PC in February.


Jamestown from Final Form Games launched for PC in 2011. Jamestown Plus features new content.


Chasm is a procedurally-generated RPG Platformer currently available for pre-order from developer Discord Games.



Ironclad Tactics from developer Zachtronics is currently on PC.



Apotheon is a 2D platform action-RPG from developer Alientrap, it is currently in development for PC.


Drifter: A Space Trading Game is coming to PC, PS4 and Vita.



Source is currently on Kickstarter with plans to launch on PC, PS4, Wii U and Xbox One.
