Like a streak of light, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 arrives as UK No. 1

Is he strong? Not really going by our review, but that hasn't stopped The Amazing Spider-Man 2 from taking top slot in the UK charts. Our spider sense tingled that Titanfall's reign would come to an end in May, but we thought it might happen a bit later. Oh well.

If we swing by a bit lower there are a few surprises in this week's charts, starting with Child of Light. Ubisoft's lyrical RPG flew all the way up to ninth place on the back of physical sales alone, with Brits clearly buying into the Deluxe Edition goodies.

Look even lower, though, and you'll find Mario Golf: World Tour only debuting in 22nd. Child of Light had a couple of days head-start on the 3DS sports sim, but both placings are still a bit eyebrow-raising.

As ever, you'll find this week's UK top ten in the chill of night. Sorry, below the break.
