WRUP: Never use the word 'first'

Welcome back to Massively's What Are You Playing, the game where we tell you what we're playing this weekend and you tell Carbine that WildStar wasn't, in fact, the first MMO ever with mount customizations. The word "first" is a dangerous word in a genre full of geeks with long memories!

@ceruleangrey: The one thing I won't be doing is leveling my dragons in Flight Rising. Nope, there is absolutely no way I've been sucked into a browser game about breeding dragons, raising dragons, and dressing dragons up in ridiculous outfits. Even if I had been, I definitely wouldn't be spending my time trying to make dragon money so I can buy more dragons and more silly dragon clothes. Dragons are the enemy, so I'll be playing Guild Wars 2 and preparing to fight them. But wouldn't Zhaitan look cute in this hat? Wait, wrong mindset.

@nbrianna: I've got WildStar's open beta all patched up, so I'm going to try to give it another quick spin while I still can!

Eliot Lefebvre, Senior Contributing Editor

@Eliot_Lefebvre: Whew. Let's see. There's the WildStar beta, there are my usual weekly routines in Final Fantasy XIV, there's ArcheAge, there's a new ship to be flown in Star Trek Online, and there's stuff to be done for my personal site. I don't know exactly what I'm going to be doing, but I don't have a tremendous amount of space to breathe no matter what I choose. Perhaps I'll just head to a trampoline park.

Jef Reahard, Managing Editor

@jefreahard: The Elder Scrolls Online here, and I resubbed to Star Wars: The Old Republic for the Nar Shaddaa house, so I may as well try to cross another class story off the list while I'm at it.

Justin Olivetti, Senior Contributing Editor

@Sypster: Right now I'm trying to simplify my gaming by focusing on just one character per MMO (my alts, noooo!). So that means I'll be dropping all but my Engineer in Guild Wars 2 to work on getting her some ascended gear and perhaps finally finishing up map completion (curse you, WvW map requirements). WildStar's beta interests me only through the character creator, since at least I can save looks for later on. And my Captain in Lord of the Rings Online needs to appease the Ents by planting kids or somesuch.

@Shaddoe: Of course, I'm going to hit Star Wars: The Old Republic for raid night on Sunday. But I think I'll take a swim in the new oceans of Landmark and a trip to Nexus in WildStar, too.

MJ Guthrie, Contributing Editor

@MJ_Guthrie: While I am hoping I can resist the siren lure of gaming enough to put some finishing touches on a personal project, I will be spending a bit of time in Star Wars: The Old Republic (you never really leave a game, do you?), Landmark (singing as many beach songs as I can think of), and The Secret World (I WILL solve this investigation mission!). Chances are pretty high that I will blow a few things up in Marvel Heroes as well. And revel in the treat that is red velvet cheesecake. Mmmmmm.

At the start of every weekend, we catch up with the Massively staff members and ask them, "What are you playing this week?" (Otherwise known as: WRUP!) Join us to see what we're up to in and out of game -- and catch us in the comments to let us know what you're playing, too!
