Rocksmith 2014 goes the distance with Cake DLC

At first I was afraid, I was petrified, I kept thinking I could never live without Cake's music in Rocksmith 2014. Fortunately, that's no longer a concern.

The latest addition to Ubisoft's electronic guitar tutor includes five of Cake's most popular songs: "The Distance," "I Will Survive," "Short Skirt/Long Jacket," "Never There" and "Stickshifts And Safetybelts." "Rock N' Roll Lifestyle" is notably lacking, but that's still a solid complement of the group's post-grunge singles.

As with all Rocksmith 2014 DLC packs, you can purchase each of these songs individually for $3, or grab them all at once for $12. All of this content is now available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
