'Escape Dead Island' on November 18, Dead Island 2 beta confirmed for UK

Escape Dead Island, a "third-person survival mystery" spin-off of the first-person melee RPG series, will run for its life on November 18. Available on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, the game is a very different take on what fans of the series expect. Wait, stop. If we take Dead Island, Dead Island 2 and Dead Island Epidemic as representative of the franchise, we have no idea what fans should expect.

It was also revealed today that those who pre-order and purchase Escape Dead Island in the UK will be guaranteed access to the Dead Island 2 beta. This was previously announced in the States as a pre-order bonus available exclusively at GameStop.
