Facebook gives UK users more control over ads

Facebook might be busy making changes to its terms of service, but buried away in its latest announcement is news of another new feature coming to the UK. After it began allowing US users to have more control over the ads they see in their timeline back in June, Facebook has now extended the same opportunities to us Brits (as well as users in Australia, Canada, France, Germany and Ireland). The tool is designed to explain why you're seeing specific ads, let you dismiss them and also allow to ask for more (if that's your thing). While it certainly means you'll enjoy a more relevant feed, be warned: Facebook can also use your feedback to learn more about your likes and dislikes.
