WRUP: Welcome to Warlords edition

It's the first weekend of Warlords of Draenor, and after the long wait for the expansion to arrive, Team WoW Insider -- and, probably, all of you -- are pretty excited about getting their playtime in and rushing to max level. So we're up to this weekend probably won't surprise you: we're playing Warlords. But for the specifics on what in-game antics we're up to and what we've enjoyed the most along the way, read on.

And, of course, feel free to speak up in the comments below, telling us just what you're up to in-game this weekend -- as well as what your favorite part of the expansion is so far.

Adam Holisky (@AdamHolisky) All Warlords, all the time. I want to be 100 soon and finish off the Garrison. After that's done, it'll be pet battles and gearing. My favorite thing so far is the mine the garrison and cutting down trees. I love that I have a place to farm ore without anyone bothering me. Easy to do day after day.

Adam Koebel (@BendakWoW) After a lot of effort, I managed to hit level 99 within the first 24 hours of release. My weekend will be spent getting to 100 and starting to gear my main for heroic dungeons so I can complete the next step of the legendary quest ASAP. I've been focusing on my garrison a lot as I've been leveling up, not even spending any garrison resources on those 20% XP potions for fear of creating a resource bottleneck later on. One of my favorite things about leveling in Draenor is all the treasures to pick up along the way. Unless you have an addon that tells you where they all are, you simply have no idea how much stuff is out there. I also have a soft spot for jumping puzzles, of which there are many in Spires of Arak. The whole thing is like Timeless Isle treasures on steroids. Oh, and the zones and music are beautiful.

Anne Stickney (@Shadesogrey) My rogue is now level 92, although she might be higher by the time this column airs. I'm doing something I haven't done in ... well since I can remember really, and just taking my time to soak everything up while I level, instead of rushing through content. Level 100 will be there when I get to it, for now there's a heck of a lot of exploring to do and things to see, and I want to see it all. I think my favorite thing so far was walking into the herb garden area -- which I can't quite unlock yet -- and seeing Dog sitting there just casually hanging out. It may seem really dumb to some people, but I'm so glad we didn't leave Dog behind. He's my scruffy buddy!

Dawn Moore (@dawnwow) My favorite thing about Warlords so far is how much stuff I'm getting done around the house while sitting in queue .____. Things certainly are clean around here.

Elizabeth Harper (@faience) I've spent plenty of time doing previous launch day rushes, and I didn't bother with Warlords. So I logged some mid-afternoon playtime on Thursday and Friday and made it up to 92 while lag and queues were both low. I'm not going to be winning any races, but it beats the annoyance of staring at a queue screen! My favorite part so far is definitely the garrison missions system, which reminds me of a Facebook game in the way it lures me back to check on my mission status and send followers out on more missions on a regular basis.

Matthew Rossi (@MatthewWRossi) I haven't really gotten to play much between outages and all. I'm also 92, which displeases me -- I have plenty of alts to do the content with slowly, I want to get to 100 already but I just haven't had the play time. My favorite thing is that I get to be a draenei on Draenor.

Sarah Pine (@ilaniel) I have this terrible luck when it comes to WoW expansions, and I've never ever been able to log in on the night or day that it launched. This year it's because one of our friend from Australia is visiting us for the week, so I've been hosting her and going out and about. But soon, my precious, soooon.

The weekend is the perfect time to kick back, relax and enjoy some game time. Are you an achievement junkie? Can't get enough raiding? Rolling a new alt? Considering taking the leap into roleplaying? Whatever your favorite way to play

World of Warcraft, let us know in the comments what you're playing this weekend!
