The Queue: Awesome Werewolf Superpowers

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Matthew Rossi will be your host today.

Guys, I love you all as if you were my children. My children who leave a lot of comments in the comment section. So many comments. 737 comments as of this moment. That is a lot of questions, statements, pictures, videos, non sequitur, all sorts of things.

I have to admit, on nights when I can't sleep (that's all of them) going through the Queue is like a portal into another dimension. Luckily, they still play WoW over there.

Q4TQ: If you were one of the humans on Fenris Isle, would you have chosen to become a Worgen or to be raised as one of the Forsaken? Consider this from a real life perspective, not game-wise (e.g. "Worgen because I love the Alliance" is not what I'm looking for).

Would I rather be trapped in a rotting corpse that's slowly deteriorating, forced to consume the flesh of the living and unable to feel, or would I rather have awesome werewolf superpowers? Yeah, that's a toughie. I guess I'd have to go with awesome werewolf superpowers.

I definitely want to see a family reunion between Alleria and Sylvanas.

In which Alleria is utterly disgusted by what Sylvanas has become, and puts an arrow through her skull.

That would be pretty swell.

I don't know, it's likely Alleria would be shocked and horrified. Keep in mind, she's been gone a long time at this point. She left for Outland after the end of the Second War, so she completely missed the Scourge Invasion, she missed her people becoming the blood elves and joining the Horde (and keep in mind, the Horde slaughtered the Windrunner clan during the Second War, which is why Alleria has such a major hatred for orcs) - I think seeing her sister transformed into a corpse would be a really awful experience for her. I mean, imagine seeing someone you love dearly transformed in that way? I know if I came home after being gone for decades and almost every aspect of my world had changed, I'd be pretty wrecked.

Question: What would it take to bring the Titans back to Azeroth? We've messed with everything from their hard drive discs to their Watcher, and no one returned (that we know of). Or am I forgetting something?

The Titans are vast, cosmic entities of unknowable intent who exist on a time scale we can barely comprehend. Beings like Algalon, an entity who could literally reoriginate the entire world of Azeroth, are their servants. An army of their servitors killed an Old God.

In other words, no, there's nothing we could do to bring them back. They'll come back if and when they decide to or it suits their purpose.

Has Blizz mentioned anything about the future of garrisons? Will our current garrison roll over into the next expansion somehow, or will we get a whole new garrison perhaps?

They've said that they will most likely not extend the Garrison itself, but that the option is there to either do so, or use the same technology on a new feature in the next expansion.

Q4tQ warriors: What would you do to make Arms not boring?
I would roll Rend back into a secondary effect of another attack, separate Mortal and Heroic Strike, and make Heroic Strike off the gcd and spammable during a randomly procced buff, possibly tied to Mortal Strike.

First up, anything that involves spamming Heroic Strike? That can go die. That can go die in a fire that it will be standing in because it has to spam Heroic Strike. In fact, having to spam anything isn'[t interesting. Hammering a key isn't 'not boring' it is in fact the definition of boring and I want no part of it. Now, what would I do to make Arms not boring?

I'd bring Blood and Thunder back to start. I would make Rend do more damage and be an attack that buffs something else - potentially the damage on Mortal Strike. I'd make Slam a baseline arms ability (as many have suggested) and bring back Overpower as a talent choice. That's what I'd do.
