In British notation... that's April Fool's Day! Maybe today (Jan 4th) could be an alternative "Fool's Day"...



...with Google Talk and adding the Google Sidebar to Windows Google Desktop Search at least, the Big G seem to be sticking their fingers in a lot of pies. I don't think Google would be eternally ruling out a GoogleOS, perhaps their still working on their own OS, perhaps their still waiting for Linux to become usable(!) or maybe their just working on making web-apps that work with ALL existing and as much as possible, future OS...



...either way, Google is a gigantic international corporation that I trust (for the moment) to not do (too many) bad things...

Expect to see os.google.com go up on Friday after the keynote. You can download it and have Tivo functionality for your DVR for PC or Linux.
