HD video from a VGA connection? Correct me if I'm not understanding this whole setup, but isn't that defeating the purpose? You would think they would run it through a DVI port, considering most graphics cards nowadays come standard with them.
Unless I am looking at this backwards, and you actually plug one end of the unit into your TV, and the other into your computer.

I beliave this is a Usb>Vga adapter, eg. giving you an extra wireless (well..) monitor for your pc. And 720p is only a resolution-standard, it has nothing to do with quality or connection.
It's a question of bandwidth. VGA can do 1080p resolution, but it supports up to 18 bit color depth, while DVI supports 24 (single link) or 48 (dual link). The only issue then is color gamut which is one of the least important issues for many people.
