Other than that... I really doubt that next kids generation will use printed photographs at all. They will most probably just exchange photos using their instant wireless cards (like Eye-Fi) and watch them on their PMP/phone/video-glasses high-res screen. And when they come home they will upload and watch them on their 70" super-slim 3D TVs.

And I forgot to mention... the photos will be 3D too.

Look at Holga, they make crappy plastic cameras but there is a sizable niche for that because some people find that all the flaws actually make for a fairly pleasing image. Polaroid film was just like that - bad resolution, terrible colour rendition on colour film, annoying blotches if you didn't peel the print off at the right speed (660 series packfilm) and so on.
