I bought a Trendnet router at a COMPUSA store closing sale. Piece of junk that lasted less than a year. Always dropping connections and a pain to set up. A router should be something you rarely service. Moved over to a d-link wireless N model and couldn't be happier. The trendnet wasn't worth the 30 bucks I paid for it.
Strange, I've had the exact opposite experience. In fact my Trendnet router is the wireless first router that I've been happy with after having poor experiences Linksys and D-link.
Dude, i have a TrendNet router (TEW-432BRP) i bought at CompUSA too almost 2 yrs ago that i'm still using and it's the best $25 i ever spent. Don't know what you did to yours, but TrendNets are great routers.

You bought the cheap $30 one and what did you expect? You can't generalize about a company's line-up like that.
