Considering it's a handheld system, I really doubt they're going to release a second controller.
They said there would be a second controller available. Its not just a handheld as the Gold edition comes with a dock and 1 controller. The extra controller is on the site but with no pricing yet listed.
Fair enough, I stand corrected.
Heh no worries, just trying to be informative. Most of the details are somewhat recent anyway.
Neo Geo X for $129.99 which is just the handheld.
Neo Geo X Gold which includes a TV dock that resembles the old console and a controller/joystick for $199.99.
Im not sure if its worth the money to everyone but I think its a pretty cool idea.
Probably not worth the money, but I'm still looking forward to it. The Neo Geo was my dream system in the early 90's, it will be nice to play some of those old fighting games again. I know they are available on other systems, but it will be more fun to play on an old school arcade style controller.
I could see myself using this more then say a 3DS or Vita honestly. Form factor and size are perfect portable with the real buttons my phone is missing.
I was watching a video on youtube about the Neo Geo X Gold, and the guy suggested that the SD card slot might be just for game saves... I hope this isn't the case, I was hoping that they'd be releasing more games in the future.
