Android 4.4 KitKat vs. Apple iOS 7: Which is better?
The disadvantage of iOS is that apple would release just one update per year compared to 2 updates of Android.
That said, a rapid release cycle should get new features into the hands of users much faster. But that sort of thing seems to be moot when you look at how long it took for Android to get a proper Bluetooth stack built into the operating system. Additionally, even though KitKat has been out since October, how many Android devices are even able to run it at the moment (or will even be upgraded to it)?
But I do feel that KitKat (and Jelly Bean before that) are finally starting to nail down the user experience on Android devices. It's an exciting time to be a fan of technology.
