It's not required. I was wondering if it was some sort of account issue. Looks like it's something deeper going on here. I'll ping our engineering team for ideas and see if we can recreate it. There's not much else we can do at the moment.
Update: It looks like it's an issue with Livefyre's commenting system. They're having some issues displaying comments on certain mobile devices. This should be fixed shortly.
