chromebook and commenting

i just sold my laptop and bought a chromebook. so i dont know if this is a new issue or an old one. but when i try to reply on a comment... it disappears every twenty seconds or so. it is quite annoying. i have to keep hitting reply and hope that what i have typed so far is still there. and when it happens as i am backspacing... i lose the page all together and have to hunt it back down.

is there a fix for this on my end... or is it on yalls?

Is this happening with Livefyre or with commenting in the forums?

its like the chromebook is autosaving like it does for docs. i havent put a stopwatch to it yet... but it does it like clockwork. and ev ery time it updates... i lose the comment box. this does not happen on disqus. which is why i think it might be something on engadget's side of the fence.

I just tried opening a reply and nothing happened that was similar to what you described.

Can you try posting from incognito mode? Maybe adblock is preventing something form working properly?

This could be a bug with Livefyre. I'll reach out to them and share your video. I'll let you know if I hear anything more.

This was an issue on our end related to Engadget Mini. It should now be fixed! Let me know if you have any further issues.
