You can find quite a few used ones at gamestop for about 30 dollars. From what I've seen, it was in good condition, they even had the NES special edition one, which, I of course picked up.
Gamestop or eBay is your best bet.
I'm not looking to buy one since I already own it, just wondering why Nintendo hasn't EOL'd it if no store even sells them anymore.
Back in late 2007 Nintendo officially ended the Gameboy line thanks to DS success.
Back then I worked in a gameretailer(Gamestop) and we received the email.
Last nail in the coffin to show this was the removal of the GBA slot in DSi.
Should also add Nintendo is wierd, they don't always go public when ending a product they just say they have no plans to end something but then quietly fade it out and stop making it.
Thanks for replying. I also saw this on Nintendo's support pages. "Older systems, such as the Game Boy Advance, Nintendo Game Cube, Nintendo 64, NES, Super NES, Virtual Boy, or older Game Boy systems may be more difficult to find as retailers tend to only stock the newer systems. In most cases, the only option is to buy used or refurbished products. We have collected a list of sources you can use to help locate these hard-to-find items." It's funny how they only say that retailers don't stock them anymore rather than confirming they have been discontinued.
