Glad you think so.... I just wanted to add that I'm using a 17-55mm f/2.8 Canon lens

my next tests will be with my old Sigma 28-300mm lens.

Do you have any low light, high ISO photos? I'd be interested in seeing those too.

Was there any post processing on these? I'd also like to see low-light. You can definitely see the noise in the shadows in low-light photos. I'm trying to decide if I should just pick up a 7D as a second body instead of a 5D just to save some dough.

Here are some more hi ISO shots. The last few in particular were taken in VERY low light with some interesting results:

most of these were shot at 1600 iso because I needed to keep a relatively quick shutter (i think I was at 30 for most of this show). I was shooting a 7D on a 24-70 2.8 canon lens. There are also a few of the wider shots on a 10mm 3.5. The stage was particularly dark for much of this show.

Nice images. It looks like it handles 1600 ISO with no problem! I like it.

Yeah, I couldn't have asked for a better weapon for this shoot. Its as if it was designed for this task.
