How many nanchucks do I want? And batteries...

When I bought my Wii, I also bought a spare controller set (remote, nanchuk, and wheel). And I'm going to get two more remotes (one with Wii Play), since some games can have four players. Are there any four player games that use the Nanchucks? Also, I bought Mario Kart; is it worth to get two more wheels? And, I plan on getting the Zapper with the crossbow game; is that worth the cost?

I bought a dual charging stand that came with two NiMH battery packs. Is this a better idea than using standard double-a rechargeables?

Well there are a lot of multiplayer games that use the nunchucks, Smash brothers , mario party ect. You could probably make due only having 4 controllers, and two nunchucks, i guess it just depends on who is using them. As for the zapper, the game/ controller combo is $20 and the game alone can be said to be worth that much, plus the zapper really isn't that bad. I have used it for Resident Evil and it worked well. As for the wheel, i have two, both from games and i hardly ever use them. Honestly holding the remote sideways is just as good. I guess it ultimately comes down to who is using the other controllers. Most games have a wide variety of ways to use them and most FPS need the nunchuck. As for the chargeable batteries I have that stand but i find myself just putting nonrechargeable in it, but mainly because i can't find the backs for the chargeable batteries.

The Rayman Raving Rabbids games and other mini-games can use all 4 wiimotes and nunchuks on certain games. I never use my wii wheel either, but I guess its just preference...

I haven't used the zapper, nor do I want to. It didn't rate very highly with anyone, but the included game was supposed to be fun for a while...

I haven't used any rechargeables since they don't work with the wiimote rubber skin and I just buy a ton of AA's for cheap at Home Depot or Fry's...

So for the nunchuks, check the games you have if they need 4 nunchuks and look up the ones that need 4. You may find you're fine with what you have.

I hate dumping a lot of batteries into the landfill. But rechargeable don't hold as much of a charge as disposables. On my portable cd player, I could only play one cd on a charge. That was ten years ago though.

Regular rechargebles should work just fine then, i didn't like the kit with the different backs, mainly because during heavy use the battery would dislodge, which is a no for me in multiplayer games. And the charger base broke shortly after.

Sadly, lots of Wii gear is crap... its even sadder because most of it will be used by young children who will go through 10 of the same item... wait, I guess this is starting to make sense from a sales perspective...
