I've always loved this design.

I know that the basic design of these controllers hasn't changed in nearly 15 years! But I've always loved the design of the dual shock controllers. They're getting a little long in the tooth now, and I actually think the Xbox 360 controller is the first controller that I actually like more, since the DualShock has been released.

When the "boomerang" concept was floated as a potential design for the PS3 controllers, I nearly cried.

I like the 360's controller a lot and it feels more comfortable in my hands but one thing I like more about the dual shock is the symmetry in the analog joysticks.

I will say that the exclusives on the PS3 beg for the DualShock.... I really couldn't see them played with anything else...

Also, remember the DualShock 3 is rechargeable by default - no add-ons required. And its a lot lighter than the 360 controller...

Play Flower with it and it disappears - and the small motion touches in PS3 exclusives do much to differentiate it from the 360 pad...

I love both to tell the truth... I've loved the 360 controller since I first layed hands on it and the same with the DualShock 3... There really is some great parity between these two consoles. The Wii controller is great as well but thats a whole 'nother story..... :)

I also love that everything is wireless now by default!! (f u wired 360 controller - you're dead to me!!)

I too think the Dualshock is the best controller. The only thing I don't care for on 3 (or sixaxis) is the new trigger style L2 and R2 buttons. I'd rather have buttons. I think Sony could have added some cool LED lighting to spiff it up, but I suppose that slightly kills battery life. And yes, thank God for included rechargeable batteries.

The D-Pad is hands down the best ever. 360's is horrid.
