Intel HD Graphics 5000

Are there any examples demonstrating how much better the Intel HD Graphics 5000 are in comparison with the 4000? Where would I notice the difference? Is the difference visible in Windows Boot Camp?

here are a couple article about the new graphics. which should cover your 1st question.

here is a part of the article from the above link.

In comparison to the HD 4000, the graphics core has been modified extensively. The GPU supports DirectX 11.1, OpenCL 1.2 and OpenGL 4.0. It also features an improved decoder for 4K videos and the fast Quick Sync encoder.

According to Intel benchmarks in 3DMark 11, the HD Graphics 5000 will be up to 50 percent faster than the previous HD 4000.

A more specific question would be: Is the 5000 less prone to frame tearing on 1080p video compared to the 4000?

I was under the impressions the Ivy Bridge processors corrected a lot of the media performance issues the Sandy Bridge processors had.
