Leap Motion and Windows 8...

Does somebody knows if Windows 8 is supported and you can control the Metro interface with it? This would be really great. Can use this device with my big screens.

According to CTO David Holz it doesn't matter what OS or app you are using. The software in the Leap Motion creates a virtual touch screen for the OS or app to communicate with. The video interview The Verge did was pretty interesting.

This sounds good - I really hope it will work as good.

I'm really interested in it. The video interview was quite impressive. I am sitting on the fence right now until there are actual reviews for this product but, for $70 it is hard not to hit that preorder link on their website.

Similarly, I'm very curious and really could see myself buying this if the reviews say good things.

At the same time, I'm just fine without any form of touch on my desktop at work.
