Macbook docking solution

I just got me a new macbook pro and I am in desperate need of a good docking solution at work. I would like to be able to still use my laptop as a second monitor. I've looked everywhere and I just can't believe it's the events not a good solution out there. Any suggestions?

Do you want a dock as in a traditional dock where all the ports get plugged in or just a stand? If you want just a stand check out the Girffin Elevators.

I'm looking for a more traditional dock. In fact the thunderbolt display would work great because it charges as well, but I'm not willing to fork up a $1000 for it. I'm coming from the PC world and these docks are plentiful, so it's kind of frustrating.

Unfortunately a lot of the macbook docks aren't comparable to PC docks. The only ones I could find were ones where you had to close the macbook.

Only others I can think of are the Belkin Thunderbolt Dock Express, LandingZone, and Kanex.

Henge Docks – the best MacBook docking station out there IMO.
