My Oldest Saved RSS Story

I don't know what this has to do with anything, but recently I remembered that when I migrated from Google Reader to Feedly, it did a fantastic job at converting my starred articles to their "Saved For Later" category. Over the years I had starred dozens - maybe hundreds - of articles in Google Reader, and impressively Feedly carried every one of those over, going back YEARS.

In fact, the oldest article I have in my saved area is none other than an article from Engadget. A thrilling story about Nintendo's move from the awful early Wiimote clasps to the more rugged clip-style clasps. Yeah, we're talking about August of 2007! (Feedly says it's 2418 days old)

I guess I had saved it for later, thinking I'd refer to it in order to go through the process of obtaining my own Wiimote clasp replacements. ...I still have the old ones on my Wiimotes...

Anyway, like I said I don't know what this has to do with anything, but I had to share this on Engadget.

Did anyone else have a lot of starred articles get carried over?

Ahhhh the joys of Wiimotes and how Nintendo not only changed clasps, but began including rubber grips for people. Smashing times.
