So now that the Froyo source was released this morning and FRF83 is out, when the hell are we going to get it OTA?

I'm starting to grow tired of this waiting game.

It looks like it's starting to trickle out!

I suggest you check it every 10 minutes.

Edit: It looks like it's for press right now... still check it every 10 minutes!

A bunch of people over at xda developers are saying that they got the OTA update, so it looks like it's finally being rolled out! I was gonna try a manual update but I'm already on FRF72 so I think I'll just wait for the OTA and save myself the hassle this time.

I would imagine the OTA will start rolling out this week or early next week, I mean they just pushed the final build to ASOP today.

It'd just be nice to have a bit of transparency.

True, you could flash the FRF83 build if you wanted to doesn't sound like the release candidate but another test build.

Yeah and I'd rather not have to root my device and void my warranty in order to do that.

These are official builds no need to root just flash, did it with my g1. These have verification and will install from the recovery menu without root.

Except no one knows if this is the true release candidate or just another incremental build. I haven't read anything on it yet
