Probably the redead area in the graveyard in Ocarina of Time. I got the game with my n64 for Christmas when I was about 7 or 8, and I guess I didn't quite have a great attention span for a game this large at the time (I only actually tried to play Ocarina for an extended period after I had put probably about 100 something hours into Mortal Kombat 4. My priorities were messed up, obviously). Anyway, the game was going pretty smoothly and I wasn't doing too horribly until I got to that area in my attempt to learn the song of suns (probably not what it's actually called). The noises those things made just took me completely out of commission. I to this day (I'm now 24) remember how I had to stop at the entrance and just look out at the horrifying level in front of me - green rivers of acid or what the hell ever that I had to traverse to get to that tomb stone. I for some reason didn't just book it through, I instead tip toed through, occasionally getting frozen and letting a shriek escape, slamming the start button and putting the controller down momentarily while I struggled to regain composure and finish the task.

I couldn't do it. Instead of skipping the area like a rational person and coming back later, I just shelved the game for 5 years. When I came back to it I started from scratch and strutted through it like it was nothing, angry at myself for being so terrified of silly looking wooden bodies of satisfied sex groans.

Steam version.

Had some scary moments while playing user created scary maps in gmod. A lot of times I got caught by surprise, as random things just suddenly pop up. One time, the scare was so sudden my mouse flew out of my hand.

Xbox 360 version would be nice, thank you.

My scariest moment was in Dark Souls when fighting Smough and Ornstein. Just walking into the room was terrifying. When I finally killed Smough, I thought taking out Ornstein would be easy. That's when Ornstein powered up and killed me instantly. I shrieked like little girl. Approximately 100 attempts later, I got lucky and cried tears of joy when I finally defeated them.

If I win, I would love the XBOX 360 version.

Thanks for the chance.

I have to say, the scariest moment for me was when I first saw the "head ghost" in Korean horror game called White Day. Either that or the time when a necromorph jumped on me from wheelchair in Dead Space 1.

Well I'm a bit late to enter, however I figured I would share my scariest moment anyhow. My scariest moment was in Half-life Source. I was playing though Half-life for the first time and everything is going good. All the water so far is safe. Then you get that damned crossbow and everything goes to hell. You grab the crossbow and fall into the water. There you are trying to find a ladder to get back up to the ledge. That fish comes out of nowhere I tell ya.
