What are you most looking forward to at CES?
So, what do we have to look forward to? Well, one thing we won't have is a Microsoft keynote, an honor they've held for the past 15 years. In fact, they won't be at the show at all. This is probably a sign of the decline of CES in general—with so many other shows vying for attention throughout the year, and so many other ways for companies to get information about their products out, a big encompassing show like CES just isn't that necessary anymore.
However, despite what may happen in the future, CES is still a big deal, and we at gdgt will be on top of all the latest news, adding the newest products to our database and making sure we're the best place to go to make your gadget buying decisions for 2013!
For all the latest products added to the database, check gdgt.com/latest/
Also be sure to check the front page, as we'll be showing off some of the notable product announcements there (as well as on Twitter, Facebook, Google Plus, and Pinterest)!
Don't get me wrong I'm excited for whatever new stuff comes out but I'd like to have companies start building for long term over shorter product cycles. We have some pretty powerful technology in our hands that shouldn't be made to feel old just because it's a new year.
Maybe the Microsoft Surface? Oh wait, there's not Microsoft keynote this year....yeah nvm.
I really want a NAS, Thunderbolt and USB 3.0 compatible budget friendly and durable external hard drive, but that really doesn't sound like something to get people amped up about.
