Where can I rent Rock Band instruments for PS3?

My cousin was asking if I knew a place that rented out the instruments for Rock Band. Renting/borrowing the game itself is easy enough, but are there any places that will rent you the guitars and drums for an evening?

(I feel like this is something that video rental stores would/could have done, if so many of them hadn't been driven out of business by Netflix and Gamefly. Guess there is still a purpose to in-store rental...)

I recently sold my PS3 wireless guitar(Guitar Hero) with 2 games for about $30 thru Amazon. I bought the guitar used for $15 back in 2009 and I believe each game was $10. If you want to, you can find these things for cheap online. I would not suggest renting.

The parts are plastic, easily broken and are not made to be rented. If you really want to play rock band or guitar hero I'm sure craigslist is a decent source for cheap instruments. Otherwise I would trust Ebay and use Amazon as a last resort. Gamestop may have some in stock, but Craigslist makes sense to me as the best bang for the buck since you may be able to avoid shipping costs and meet in person.

Also, Gamestop is in much better shape than Gamefly while we are on the topic. I'm a fan of both and love renting in general, but retail isn't going away just yet as most parents still do gift shopping at the mall, where there is always a Gamestop.

I've recommended Craigslist to my cousin; the other options don't work so good because the equipment is needed for a holiday party, so time is of the essence.

Also, GameStop doesn't rent games, at least none of the ones I've been to...

I knew that, my point was that places where you can rent equipment are thin on the ground.

I know that there are some party rental services that offer video game rentals, including full-on Rock Band sets including console & TV for the day. I'm not sure if they would be willing to just rent out the instruments themselves and not the full package, but I guess it will depend on the party rentals providers.
Do a search for "Rock Band Party Rentals" or something and hopefully a local rental service could help yo out.
Hope this wasn't too late of a suggestion and hope your cousin holds a great party!
