Why is Samsung delaying the launch of the Galaxy S III in the US when it has launched all over Europe and many parts of Asia. Any guess ?

Is it to remove the Apple iPhone 5 ´s thunder after all the previous model Samsung Galaxy S II was a fantastic model with over 20 million units sold. Samsung already is the largest selling mobile company in the world

Different chipsets means more time to QA, plus they have to deal with carrier agreements.

I guess you are right. Samsung seems to launch all their new devices first in Korea followed by Europe and Asia and fnally in the US. Perhaps for the USA then want a battle hardened product. I guess it is their strategy and it is working for them.
