Andy Bowen lives in the flatlands of eastern North Carolina, where cotton and soybeans cover every inch of ground uninhabited. His love for technology began with the disassembly of a Polaroid One Step and Fisher Price tape recorder. Several manipulations later, he was hooked. For the next fifteen years Andy dreamed of working for Engadget, he just didn't know what to call it yet. Now living out that fantasy, he's a passionate musician who spends most of his free time recording and performing while also completing a degree from CTU. His obsessive personality forces a compulsive need for the newest pieces of technology available. Without the financial backing necessary for that endeavor, he's content just to write about them.
