Amazon's Kindle DX arrived nearly simultaneously with the Kindle 2. A larger screen brother to the Kindle 2, the DX boasts a 9.7-inch screen that rotates to landscape display, a PDF reader, 3.3GB of storage space. With a large price tag -- $489 -- it's hard to see how its intended market, students, can justify the expense, but this reader is still the one to beat.
