If you don’t need the features unique to Apple’s AirPort Extreme Base Station, the new Express is an affordable and portable alternative, although one that doesn’t quite match the Extreme’s performance... the AirPort Express offers more features, a more travel-friendly design, and easier...

Don't pick up a new, 802.11n-enabled AirPort Express if you're looking for superfast wireless networking performance. You should consider it, however, if you're in the market for a new Wi-Fi router that offers portability, ease of use, and the unique ability to stream iTunes over your network.

Simply put, the AirPort Express is a product I found so valuable that I bought one as soon as Apple took back the model I was reviewing.

It's unfortunate that this price premium will make most Windows-world folks pass right on by. Because they'll be missing not only a nicely designed multi-mode 802.11g AP / router / bridge, but a product experience that's all too rare in the street brawl that we've come to know as the consumer...

I bought this as an extender to my Airport Extreme base station. It's working great. Just plugged it in upstairs at the other end of my house and set it up through the Mac via the control panel. Up and running in no time and it really helps with devices like my iPad which doesn't have the best...

Overall this is a nice wireless router for what it is. Good for portable networks and travel. It could use a web interface. Best feature is the ability to use it as an Airplay output device.

Moving into our new house, I'm unable to wire the spot we picked out to place our Home Theater setup. So, I ordered an Airport Express and an Airport Extreme from Amazon, hoping that I could use the Extreme as a wireless-to-ethernet bridge. Turns out, that doesn't work! So, I fell back...

Love this thing. I use it for AirPlay and for printing. I turned my Canon i9100 printer into a wireless printer in a matter of moments. As for AirPlay - man, just fire and forget. I have not used it for any other purpose, my router has good enough range.

I travel all over the world a lot. Many hotels do not provide wifi, as well as many places I go to work at. They do provide ethernet connections, however. My Macbook Air, iPhone, Blackberry, etc do not have ethernet connections, so this little guy is my best friend for these types of...
