- Ease of use No comments
- Storage capacity No SD card slot you are stuck at 16. which i admit is similar to an iPad but the difference is on android devices SD card are a real option and rather common
- Design and form factor i really like the 7inch size and the layout of the buttons on the side is good they don't feel in the way

ICS with JB really polished the OS and makes it look great. switching from applications and even just swiping between screens is smooth and down right awesome to see.
Hardware wise i wish it had a camera. with the smaller size of the device compared to the larger iPad or even other 10inch Android tables which i wouldn’t use to take pictures but on this smaller device i actually have found myself wish it had a rear camera for taking still shot or quick video. the device slights right into my pockets and i have started carrying it with me regularly even more so than my iPad. 3G or 4G would have also been a nice thing to have had the option of ordering.
Ease of use, with ICS and JB i think the OS is at an all time high and is great to use. But when i handed it to my nephew who is 19 and asked him to use it as GPS and later to cancel a destination we entered on the return trip and it took him a while to figure out how to do that sucked. Also we had issues getting some of the notifications to work right for some of the applications. Now for this i see this more of a short coming of the applications than i do the device or OS but setting and enforcing standards across the applications is something i think Google is responsible for. I personally like the OS and find it easy to use now that i have gotten used to it and its navigation and settings. But for a 1st time or even casual user i don’t think it is that easy to grasp especially after some one may have customized it for themselves.
The device is a great size its thin light but still feels solid and with the rubberized back you definitely don’t feel it slipping or sliding around as much. On the sides it has enough bezel to hold it without touching the display but on the top and the bottom there is a lot more bezel then i think it needs. it's a minor gripe but i wish the top and bottom bezels were not as large or possibly the same width as the one on the sides.
So, i can understand that to keep the device in the 200 to 250 price range some things had to be cut to keep it in the price range but wish that it had not been the SD Card slot. That would have been a great way to up the memory on the device and would have made, at least for me, the 8GB more appealing, knowing i could have just added an SD card for another 8 to 64GB of storage. i would have also liked to have had the option of ordering it with 3G or 4G service. But these are minor and easily over looked when you look at all the other elements of the device and price.
