Bang & Olufsen has solved an issue plaguing flat panels for some time, and that is good sound quality. With the BeoVision 11, B&O put a lot of emphasis on creating a good sound experience and it shows, as What Hi-Fi calls it " the best sounding flatscreen we’ve ever reviewed." TrustedReviews says the BeoVision 11 "sounds unbelievably good by flat TV standards." It's not just in the sound department that causes the BeoVision 11 to shine, it also produces good picture quality that FlatPanelsHD calls "convincing and places the TV up front in the LCD-TV field," and TrustedReviews says "its pictures are among the very best we’ve seen from an LCD TV." Unfortunately all this great sound and picture quality comes at the price of around $8000. At that price you can buy one, or both, of our current Must-have sets and still have plenty left over for a quality sound bar or surround sound system.

But just as there are luxury cars, luxury yachts and luxury hi-fis, surely there's no reason why there shouldn't also be luxury TVs, right?
