The @TVPlus is Belkin's take on a placeshifting device, a category long dominated by the Slingbox. And it offers some good features, including the ability to turn your tablet or smartphone into a DVR, so you can record programming for offline viewing. However, it can't stream in HD, and it's priced on par with the new Slingbox 350, which can. This sets up something of a feature trade-off: if you'd like a placeshifter that also includes offline viewing capabilities, the @TVPlus could be for you. If you value the ability to stream your remote programming in HD, the Slingbox 350 is a better option.
