With the QuietComfort 3s, Bose has done a remarkable job of shrinking its popular noise-canceling headphones while achieving similarly impressive sound quality--but that engineering feat doesn't come cheap.

The Bose QuietComfort 3 headphones are better than most noise-canceling models, but I still prefer the QuietComfort 2. The QC3's are very comfortable, and they provide good sound and very good noise cancellation; they make ears happy, but you pay through the nose.

Whether it's sound reproduction or just to use them as noise cancelling headphones to drown out the ambient noise on the plane the QuietComfort 3 are very very good.

The Bose QuietComfort 3 headphones are very comfy and boast excellent noise cancellation, but the middling sound quality doesn't quite match up to the high price. If noise reduction is your main concern, these are the bees' knees...

The overall sound quality of the Bose headphone is great. Far for my expectation. I owned this since 2007 and i still have today (2012).

Noise canceling: outside your head, the world continues as though you are under water. Yes, you can still hear the HVAC blasting over there, but now it's a faint static rather than a constant thunder. And yes, you can still hear your coworkers arguing in the next cubicle... but only if you...

Excellent sound quality and comfortable fit. When the foam started splitting after almost two years Bose offered a free replacement.

I love these. I had in-ear noise canceling prior to these and the Bose are way more comfortable. Better noise canceling, too. Sound is great tho not as clear as some other Bose speaker systems. I've purchased a second pair after the first pair broke. I also tried Sennheiser 450 and returned those...
